Essay

It is established that self-association of ligands is specified by fundamental anticooperative character due to the loss of translational and rotational degrees of freedom of molecules on complexation. For the first time the investigation has been accomplished and the tool for analysis of cooperativity of hetero-association of aromatic molecules. It was shown that the hetero-association of aromatic ligands, accompanied by formation of intermolecular H-bond, features a pronounced anticooperativity.
