Tkachuk O. Neologisms in the language of the Croatian mass media of the 1990-s of the 20-th and the beginning of the 21-st centuries

Object: the Croatian neologisms of the 1990-s of the 20th and the beginning of the 21st centuries. Objective: comprehensive analysis of neologisms, which appeared, activated and actualized their use in the language of the Croatian media at the end of the 20th the beginning of the 21st century. Methods: general scientific analytical and descriptive, structural and semantic analysis, contextual and semantic analysis, functional analysis, the admission of foreign interpretation, method of quantitative calculation. Scientific novelty: for the first time on the basis of the lexical material of media conducted a comprehensive analysis of neologisms in Croatian language of 90-s of the 20th and the beginning of the 21st century. The practical value: the use in courses of the history of the Croatian language, lexicology, theory and practice of translation.
