Essay

The thesis is a complex research study of the legal thought development processes in Ukrainian lands in the period of the second half of the XVIII century to the beginning of the XIX century. The present thesis defines and discoveres the methodological mechanism and historiographic sources studied on the basis of empirical research as well as defines historical prerequisites of development of Ukrainian state-legal thought in the above mentioned period and its ideological origins. The author analyses the directions of the native legal thought in the period of the second half of the XVIII century to the beginning of the XIX century, namely the views of the official representatives of noble constitutionalism and liberal ideology and law ideas of native Enlightenment. The author shows new typical and general features of law concepts of some scientists, specifies the historical frames of the period of enlightened absolutism in Russian and Austrian Empires.
