Technology of cultivation in vitro of S. discolor (Willd.) DC. and S. porcii Degen species from Ukrainian flora based on complex biochemical and genetic experiments were developed and sunstantiated. It is proved that the leaves of the investigated plants are characterized by ability to accumulate poliphenols connections and to the sesquiterpene lactones in an amount inherent to other representatives of genus. Their content depends on the terms of increase and specific description. The spectra of biologically active compounds of S. discolor and two populations S. porcii cultivated in vitro were studied in this work. It is shown that the explants of S. discolor and S. porcii are able to synthesize the sesquiterpene lactones. Their composition was studied with a help of thin layer chromatography. It was shown that the composition depends on the genotype of the population and the condition of in vitro. Both investigated populations of S. porcii have common components which Rf are equal to: 0.14, 0.26, 0.36, 0.60, 0.56. The strips with Rf 0.48, 0.53, 0.75 and 0.90 were found out only during the realization of the thin layer chromatography of the extracts of explants of the first population. And with Rf 0.43, 0.65, 0.81 end 0.87 - during second one. Components with the coefficient of mobility 0,14; 0,26; 0,36; 0,90; 0,95 is general for both investigated kinds from that connections from Rf 0,36 and 0,95 present person in all investigated raw material in a maximal amount.
