Essay

Thesis is dedicated to studying the dynamics of neurological deficits, cognitive dysfunction and disorders of gait in patients with multiple sclerosis in srednedlitelnoy term follow-up (1 - 3), as well as the effect on the progression of deficit drugs that modify the course of the disease (beta-interferons, Copaxone). We examined 249 patients with stages of multiple sclerosis outpatients (male 86 (34.54%) and women - 163 (65.46%).Used the following methods: evaluation stage of the disease and the structure of neurological disorders by the method of EDSS, functional disorders - the procedure MSFC, Isaacs test, assessment of quality of life by the method of EQ-5D, an MRI study of brain function and instrumental study on how to walk GAITRite ®. In the dynamics of 1, 2 and 3 years, established the presence of three patterns of changes in the medium term - an improvement (up to 30 - 40% of patients in each period), and stable over the deterioration (whether or not clinically established exacerbations).Opposite changes of the patients studied in different fields have different values and generally had a very modest connection with each other.
