Vodzynsky Y. Principles and Methods of Protections of View Presentation of Architectural Monuments in Historical Cities Landscape (1970-s - 1990-s years)

3. The research has been conducted for the purpose of solving the actual problems of protection of active compositional role of monuments of architecture. It aims at improvement of methods of protection of architectural and city planning heritage in the part of preservation of main character of silhouettes, panoramas, perspectives, and other historically and artistically valuable views that contain monuments and define peculiarities of historical cities. In the study are solved the general questions of protection of architectural monuments view presentation, and also are presented the concrete proposals of new building control and reconstruction regulation with consideration of their demands for each of the studied cities. The main results of the study are: determination of the structure of view presentation of architectural monuments and the laws of visual interaction between monuments and surrounding objects, identification of the territories dealing with view presentation of monuments, declaration of the principles of protection of view presentation of monuments, development of the protection methods of monuments view presentation.
