Drobotov S. Implementation of law functions in the development of the democratic state and the state of law.

The dissertation gives a comprehensive analysis of theory and practice of implementing the functions of law in a democratic state and the state of law. The author examines the theoretical and methodological models of reconstruction of the law functions of in a modern state, gives a description of the functions of law as one of the fundamental problems of modern theoretical and legal research, and proves the specifics of law functions in a democratic state and the state of law. This paper gives an analysis of the functions of law in the development of democratic and legal state, characterizes the different types of classification of the law functions, demonstrates their correlation, and clarifies the concept of legal and social functions of law. The author examines the functions of law and their implementation in the formation process of the democratic state and the state of law, defines a specific implementation of the ideological function of law, justifies the role of axiological, cognitive and educational functions of law in shaping the state of law and civil society, and identifies concrete ways to ensure the effective functioning of law in modern Ukraine.
