Zhytar I. The structure and stylistic functions of the parenthetic constructions in scientific and journalistic styles of Ukrainian literary language

In the thesis the parenthetic constructions in the scientific and journalistic texts of Ukrainian literature language are analyzed. Semantic and syntactical features of the parenthetic constructions have been defined in Ukrainian linguistic for the first time; the types and functions of the parenthetic spreaders of a sentence, parenthetic sentences and texts in scientific and journalistic styles have been described. Functional and stylistic load of the parenthetic constructers in scientific and journalistic styles have been compared; their common and peculiar functions have been shown. Stylistic potential of the parenthetic constructions in scientific and journalistic styles have been determined.
