Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problems of training the future research biologists for their professional activity. The necessity of the research skills formation of the students of biological specialties in the process of teaching higher mathematics has been grounded. The methodical system of biology students' research skills formation on the basis of mathematical modeling as a research method and the introducing of the system of professional tasks and integrated laboratory works on higher mathematics into the process of teaching are given. The electronic text-book "Foundations of Higher Mathematics for Biologists" has been worked out and tested.
