Pavlova I. The Numeral in Poets of the Sixties' Text of Fiction: Structure, Semantics, Functions

The object is the linguistic and creative representation of the numeral and its derivatives in a text of belles-lettres style. The objective is to distinguish the specifics of the structure, semantics and functioning of the numeral as a marker of the individual style and as an element of the world picture of the poets - "men of the sixties". The methods are as follows: descriptive, hypothetical and deductive ones, methods of the component, concept and discourse analyses, of linguistic description and contextual analysis and of cultural interpretation of the fiction discourse. This is the first time the problem of aesthetical expressiveness and significance of the numerals in the poetic texts of 'the men of the sixties', the complex diverse interaction of the grammar and poetics of the numeral, the mechanism of the pragmatic meaning formation has been studied, that is the topicality of the research. The results are the following ones: the tendencies of the development of the poetic diction of "the men of the sixties" have been outlined from the point of view of the numerals usage, especially as a precedent phenomenon; one of the branches of linguistic and poetic studios, i.e. the study of fictional opportunities of separate parts of speech, has been actualized.
