Prutyanyi S. Criminological characteristics and prevention of professional crimes in Ukraine

The paper presents a complex study of professional crimes in Ukraine as one of the most dangerous types of crimes. Historical stages of development of professional crimes as a separate social-legal phenomenon are investigated. Connection of professional crimes with organized, recidive crimes as well as crimes in the sphere of official activity is determined. The dissertation reveals criminological characteristics of professional crimes. Measures for prevention, aversion and restriction of professional crimes are suggested. Place of legal measures for prevention of professional crimes in the activity of the internal affairs agencies is outlined.
