Essay

The thesis is a complex study of the issues concerning criminological characteristics of trafficking in prostitutes and inducing of a person into prostitution. The investigation determines historical background and genesis of criminal-legal norms directed at counteraction to the crime stated, covers comparison of current legislation of Ukraine with the present-day foreign legislation. The author considers formal components of the crime that stipulates responsibility for trafficking in prostitutes and inducing of a person into prostitution; determines major tendencies of the development of the crime, factors that contribute to distribution of trafficking in prostitutes and inducing of a person into prostitution; analyzes personality of the offender of the crime described.
