Boychuk A. Advocacy Institute at Ukrainian West-lands in the second half of the nineteenth - early twentieth century (on materials of Galicia).

In the dissertation was analysed of acts of archival materials and scientific literature of the formation of the institute of advocacy in Galicia. The organizational and legal framework Galicia's advocacy in Austria and Austria-Hungary were researched. Place and role of Galicia's advocacy in the public-political system of Austria and Austria-Hungary were described. Advantages and disadvantages, features of functioning and specifics of Galicia's advocacy were formulated. Organizational structure, jurisdiction and legal principles of Ukrainian law societies in Galicia were explored. Value professional association of lawyers of Galicia and their activities for the formation of national-state ideas were characterized.
