Chernyak, O. The consumer's civil-law status in a context of adaptation of the legislation of Ukraine to the legislation of the European Union

The dissertation is devoted research of the civil-law status of the consumer in a context of adaptation of the legislation of Ukraine to EU legislation. In work features of formation of the civil-law status of the consumer by the right of Ukraine and EU are considered. Features of protection of the rights of consumers as priority sphere of adaptation of the legislation of Ukraine to acquіs communautaіre are defined. It is investigated concept and structure of the civil-law status of the consumer. Special attention is concentration on the consumer as to the participant of civil legal relationship. Elements of the civil-law status of the consumer in a context of adaptation of the civil legislation of Ukraine to EU legislation, in particular, legal personality, system of the rights and consumer duties are analysed. On a basis the conducted research is drawn conclusions and offers concerning improvement of the legislation of Ukraine in sphere of protection of the rights of consumers
