Essay

In dissertation are researched the processes of hot-rolled profiles in calibers for raw-forming of shape. Purpose of the work was to develop methods for predicting changes in the depth of surface defects during rolling of shaped profiles in the calibers and improvement on this basis, calibration for the production of flanged profiles. Theoretical studies of metal flow in the superficial layers were carried out by calculating the deformed state of the metal by finite element method. Experimental researches of transformation of defects were in laboratory conditions using the theory of planning experiments. A new method for predicting changes of depth of the longitudinal surface defects during hot rolling in shaped caliber of complex shape. First obtained the dependence on the parameters of rolling out the defects the form of flanges of cutting-calibers. The recommendations on improving the design of cutting-caliber rolling I-beams and channels. Implemented. Metallurgy.
