Nalyvajko M. Non-official anthroponomy of Lviv region

Theoretical principles of the study of anthroponomy concerning national mode of life and unofficial names in Lviv region have been analyzed in the thesis. Individual, territorial and family-generic nicknames have been outlined for the first time in the thesis from the point of view of motivation basis and word-building structure, using wide range of factual material. There have been determined lexico-semantic word-building structure of nicknames and the causes for their naming have been identified in the thesis. Word-building structure of nicknames have been baced and typical, non-typical samples have been defined. There have been compiled a dictionary of individual and territorial nicknames of the Lviv region residents and the index of family-generic names have been given.
