Scientific thesis is dedicated to generalization of theoretical principles and further development of scientific and methodological basis for mechanism formation of economic motivation of training centers' instructors and teachers while training and retraining the personnel of air transport enterprises. Basic conceptual approaches to formation of motivation system as economic category have been analyzed. The role of material stimulation of staff in the system of personnel management has been defined. Special features of motivational activity of training centers have been analyzed. The hierarchy of motives for the process of managing the level of economic motivation of teachers and trainers has been formed.
