The thesis is devoted to the study of pathophysiological mechanisms of posttraumatic epi-lepsy genesis in remote terms after a mild head injury. We used clinical, neurophysiological, neurovisualization, biochemical, and statistical methods. It was educed that an epileptic syn-drome was formed in 8 months - 3 years after a trauma and was polymorphic on its structure. Correlation of character of epileptic syndrome with hemodynamic, electro-encephalography, structural traits, energy balance, and status of freely-radical oxidization of lipids has been found. New method was designed to treatment of posttraumatic epilepsy by use of topamax and kortexin combination.
