The thesis analyzes semantic features and formal syntactic organization of sentences with the modal semantic of possibility and necessity. It defines the concepts of "modality of possibility" and "modality of necessity", considers the cases of combination of the indicated modal semantic with other types in the same sentence and peculiarities of modal syncretism, traces the reasons of conditionality and the general features of analyzed semantic.
