The conducted research showed the mutual influence of biogenic and abiogenic metals both cumulative and antagonistic effects. This forms a new approach to the pathogenesis of the fetus growth retardation syndrome among pregnant women living in the industrial pollution zones. Deviations of the state of the fetuses and newborns among pregnant women with an excess of toxic and lack of essential heavy metals in the body of pregnant show the negative influence of such a relation on the state of fetoplacental complex. The necessity of conducting biological monitoring was justified - the research of the heavy metals content in the human biosubstrates as a criterion of the environmental impact on the body of the pregnant woman and the fetus, as well as the necessity to develop methods for prevention and treatment of the fetus growth retardation syndrome among pregnant women with an excess of toxic and lack of essential metals. It was conducted the treatment of 76 pregnant women with excess amount of heavy metals in biosubstrates. Among them, 34 women (group II) were treated by the standard technique of treatment, 42 patients (group III) - according to the developed method with the use of such drugs as Enterosgel and VITRUM Prenatal Forte. During the development of the pathogenically grounded treatment of the placental dysfunction on the background of the excessive level of toxic heavy metals in the body of pregnant woman and estimation of its clinical efficiency, we analyzed the metal content in biological substrates of pregnant women and newborns in both groups, the period of the pregnancy and childbirth, also the state of fetoplacental complex, fetuses and newborns. The observed positive impact of the proposed medical scheme can restore the ability of the placenta to maintain an adequate exchange between mother and fetus. That points out the reasonability of using these drugs in complex treatment of placental dysfunction among pregnant women with an excess amount of xenobiotic and lack of essential heavy metals in biological substrates.
