Essay

The study is based on integrated clinical examination and surgical treatment of 98 patients with venous forms of congenital vascular malformations of the lower limbs. Enhanced classification of venous forms of congenital vascular malformations was proposed and used. Treatment and diagnostics algorhytms were created on basis of this classification. Proliferation activity of malformations was shown by immunohistochemistry and pathomorphology. Indications for and new methodics of surgical treatment of venous forms of congenital vascular malformations of the lower limbs were developed. Efficiency of combined differentiate surgical, sclerotherapy and laser vein ablation was shown. This diagnostic and treatment tactics gave an opportunity to reach the rate of 74.49% satisfactory results in surgical treatment of patients with venous forms of congenital vascular malformations of the lower limbs.
