The dissertation is devoted to the problem of development and introduction of knowledge formation method in microbiology of the students of medical specialities in higher educational institutions of the 3rd-4th levels of accreditation. As to the quality factor of effective knowledge formation in microbiology of the students of medical specialities complex use of individual, group and frontal educational activities; diverse individual lecture-room students' work and out of it; planned activities, scientific and research work in the students' scientific society of microbiological aspect have been revealed and proved. The methods of knowledge formation in which these factors find their realization have been worked out.
