Essay

The dissertation is devoted to development of new approach in treatment of patients with a metabolic syndrome, which based on complex application of medical mineral water Polyana Kvasova, turpentine bath. Usage of turpentine baths and mineral water in complex has positive influence on the basic components of metabolic syndrome: decreases level of obesity, insulin resistance, level of general cholesterol and triglycerides, level of fasting glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin A1c. Usage of complex balneotherapy is helping to achieve target level of arterial blood pressure at the patients with a metabolic syndrome. Assignment of recurring course of mineral water after 3 month, complex balneotherapy (mineral water and turpentine bath) after 6 month after basic course is contributing to the conservation long remission of the illness and improves the level of life of patients with a metabolic syndrome.
