Sharapa M. Verbal and non-verbal components in spring-summer calendar traditions of Serednyo-Polissya

The dissertation researched Serednyo-Polissya spring-summer, calendar customs as inseparable cultural text, comprising verbal and non-verbal components; the sources of its formation and; the plan of its expression have been established. The description of spring-summer customs Serednyo-Polissya sayings in the wide extralinguistic context and its linguistic analyses have been provided. Semantic structure, name creating, peculiarities of their functioning have been established. An attempt has been made to understand the motive of nomination cum the usage of cultural words semantics. Relationship of verbal and non-verbal components has been established with the help of emphasizing the topics of the context and its concrete cultural-mythological motives, and also ancient archaic features to formulate traditional spiritual Slavonic culture. Ethnolingvistical carthography and description of variants of verbal and non-verbal components of Serednyo-Polissya spring-summer calendar customs have been made.
