The artistic diskorse of 1920-49-х years of J. Kosach's is analyzed. The emphasis is put on the synthesis of historical and modern elements in novels and stories, the peculiarites of interpretation the national idea in the tales and novels, the problem of the national identity in the story "Еney and the Life of the Others". The system of ideas and artistic elements in the creative works of Juriy Kosach is analyzed. The social bottom in the novels of Juriy Kosach, the national idea in the historical novels, artistic diskorse of the poetry, literature and critical positions are analyzed.
