Shulyk R. Structure and Semantics of the Syntactic Pragmemmes in Online Newspaper Texts of Information Genres

Within this thesis, having taken into consideration the most up-to-date achievements in linguistic semiotics, transformational grammar, linguistic pragmatics and cognitive linguistics the author has developed the theory of pragmatic syntax and elaborated the methodology for the pragmatic analysis of the online newspapers' text and hypertext syntax. Analysing the concrete examples of informational texts taken from a number of online information newspapers the author demonstrates the efficiency of the elaborated methodology and defines the types of syntactic pragmemmes most frequently applied in online newspaper chronicles and paragraphs.
