Lytvynenko A. The adaptivity and technological peculiarities of fibre-flax growing in the conditions of Left-bank Polissya of Ukraine

Subject of research - fibre flax varieties adaptive ability and process of forming yield capacity of seed, stalks and fibre depending on agro technical methods of growing. Objective of research - to determine the adaptive capacity of fibre flax varieties of different ecologic-geographical origin, to select the best varieties on their yield capacity and quality of flax production depending on technological peculiarities of their growing in the conditions of Left-bank Polissya of Ukraine. Methods of research - field, analytical, mathematical, economic mathematical. Peculiarities of forming fibre flax varieties productivity depending on seed sowing rate, mineral fertilizers doses, applying of herbicide mixtures are determined. Fibre flax varieties which are the most adaptive to the conditions of Left-bank Polissya of Ukraine that can provide getting 0,90-1,12 t/h of seed and 1,60-1,65 t/h of fibre on different weather-climatic conditions are selected. Results of research during 2006-2009 are introduced in agro-indusrtial enterprises of Hluhivskyy and Shostkivskyy districts Sumy region on the area of 3000 hectares.
