Essay

The dissertation research is devoted to the problem of formation of spatial concepts with primary school pupils in the process of their acquaintance with the environment, developing graphic literacy, skills of reading and building graphics that promote integration of knowledge make it informative, variable, dynamic, which are essential components of key competencies. Didactic conditions of formation of spatial concepts with primary school students are: sustainable management of independent learning activities of students; updating of educational content with integrated knowledge and the results of the latest scientific research; individualization of training, making it accessible and consistent; grouping of spatial concepts according to their content while developing students' graphic literacy, skills of reading and building graphics; creating an atmosphere of motivated learning; using the computer graphics as a means to encode information; developing algorithmic approaches to solving practical problems and justifying the achieved results, ability to express their ideas and opinions, to reproduce visual mental images verbally, graphically and manipulate with them while engaged in various learning activities.
