Borysov V. Lingual and Communicative Aspects of Ukrainian Linguistic Discourse

Object – modern Ukrainian linguistic discourse (MULD) presented by scientific texts of different genres; aim – to expose and describe communicative and lingual peculiarities of MULD, outlining the individual style specificity of scientific text creation; methods – structural, descriptive, functional method, method of contextual interpretation, componential analysis, etymological analysis; novelty – complex research of MULD as a scientific cognitive and communicative phenomenon has been made for the first time; lingual and communicative specificity of MULD genres has been traced; modern tendencies of terms usage in linguistic context according to synchronous scientific and world-view settings have been discovered; peculiarities of Ukrainian linguistic Internet-communication have been characterized; results – genre and communicative specificity of the article and the official opponent’s review has been described; functions of intertextemes and precedent texts in MULD have been defined; specificity of terms usage in MULD has been revealed and described; peculiarities of Internet-communication in Ukrainian scientific communicative sphere have been outlined; sphere –communicative linguistics, discourse linguistics, stylistics, terminology.
