The aim - development of efficiency and stability increasing methods and functional possibilities expansion of active quasi-optical resonators in terahertz range. Object - physical processes for generation of THz oscillations in active quasi-optical resonators. Methods - quasi- optical methods of measurement, method of transverse scanning beam. Results - investigated physical causes of split pulses THz generation, suggested new ways of improving the efficiency of generation and intracavity modulation. Implementation - the new system of pumping of the active resonators, as well as the modulation system and radiation frequency tuning. Application - development of the sources of THz radiation on the basis of active quasi-optical resonators
