Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to a problem of raising the efficiency of sanatorium rehabilitation of the patients with traumatic illness of spinal cord (TISC) on the grounds of research of structural-functional state of bone tissue and correction of revealed disturbances. It was observed form of osteopenia, in a form of osteoporosis, those changes arose from slowing down of the processes of forming and strengthening of resorbtion of bone tissue in consequence of disturbed hormonal regulation of mineral exchange. Application of mud applications on a big area for the patients with traumatic illness of spinal cord results in progressing of disturbances of structural-functional state of bone tissue in consequence of strengthening of bone resorbtion. Complex sanatorium rehabilitation with application of manyneedle-bearing different metallic applicators on the paravertebral areas on the level of breast and lumbosacral segments of spine and feet in combination with mud cure in a form of "briefs" contributes to improvement of structural-functional state and metabolism of bone tissue of the patients with TISC.
