Object of investigation: processes in the lighting installation, which photometric descriptions of sources of light influence on. Objective: determination of photometric descriptions of light sources for their effective use in the lighting installation. Methods of investigation: optical and electric measuring. Have been developed: algorithm and facilities of research of light sources photometric descriptions at daily and twilight illumination. Have been applied: in the educational process of faculty of Electrical Engineering and Illumination and in a production (LTD "UKRNDI of light sources ", NC "Ukrenergo"). Area of application: planning of the lighting systems, optoelectronic instrument engineering.
