Prystai H. Dynamic morphonological models of deadjectival word formation.

The thesis is the first complex research of functional morphonological models of adjectival derivational nests in the Ukrainian language. It has been proved that a morphonological qualification of a derivational nest as an integrated unit is defined by such concepts as morphonological position, morphonological transformation, dynamic morphonological model and morphonological structure of an adjectival derivational nest. The thesis traces that the morphonological structure of a derivational nest depends on the peculiarities of the morphonological structure of a root morpheme. It has been established that the bases of topmost adjectives have two degrees of morphonological divisibility: indivisible basis of free roots which can be combined with any suffix and divisible ones that incorporates out the submorphemes.
