The dissertational work is devoted to the increase of the efficiency of the forming processes of many-sided pipes with cylindrical ends on the basis of working out and perfection of the technology of hydroexplosive stamping and industrial equipment providing a high quality of manufactured parts and decrease of the technological cost price. The model of the dynamics of the elastic-plastic deformation of thick-walled billets, allowing for a shock interaction of an element of the billet with the matrix, intensive hardening of a copper alloy and optimization of the explosive loading parameters has been further developed.The technology and stamping equipment for the hydroexplosive stamping of sleeves of crystallizers from copper alloys from the nomenclature of the metallurgical enterprises is developed.
