Epel O. Criminal responsibility for public appeal to commit a terrorist act

The thesis is a complex study of criminal responsibility for public appeal to commit a terrorist act. Determined that, on the one hand, this crime is a type of terrorist crimes, and on the other - a special case of propaganda and spreading of the terrorist ideology. The degree of correspondence of the provisions of Article 258-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine to grounds and principles of criminalization, as well as to international demands is scrutinized. In comparison to contiguous formal components of crimes of the present-day Criminal Code of Ukraine and corresponding articles of foreign laws objective and subjective features of the crime under analysis are studied; certain drawbacks and inconsistencies are singled out and the author's variant of the construction of Article 258-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is suggested.
