Otarashvili K. Surgical tactics in nonparasitic liver cysts

The clinical investigation of 89 patients with nonparasitic liver cysts and 106 operations with this diagnosis were carried out by researcher. The blood biochemical indexes, the state of bioenergetics activity of liver tissue, its morphological condition and their correlation before operation have been studied and analyzed for the first time. Comparative histologic tissue of patients with cholelithiasis decease reveals that liver diffusive modification of patients with nonparasitic liver cysts exceeds 15,0 %. The developed algorithm to treat for nonparasitic liver cysts that depends on cysts' localization and their size helps to standardize and optimize the method of surgical operation. New approach in solving the problem of nonparasitic cysts diagnostics and treatment permits to lower, to a marked degree, the number of complications and relapse.
