The thesis is devoted to the identity the influence of the transnistrian conflict on the realization of Ukraine's interests in the Black Sea region. It analyzes the main approaches to the study of ethno-political conflicts, including Major theoretical approaches to research the Transnistrian conflict. The thesis analyzes the traditions of using the term "frozen conflict", including the author 's vision of this phenomenon. It identifies the influence of lack of regulation of the Transnistrian conflict on the national interests of Ukraine in the Black Sea region. The analysis of ways of settlement of the Transnistrian conflict determined the most likely one that matches the interests of Ukraine in the Black Sea region. It determines and summarizes practical recommendations for settlement of the Transnistrian conflict as an important task of the national security of Ukraine's foreign policy.
