Tymchenko M. Prediction and prevention of secondary septic complications of disseminated forms of peritonitis

The object of the study are the results of treatment of common forms of peritonitis.The aim is to improve the results of treatment of disseminated forms of peritonitis by predicting and preventing the development of secondary septic complications. The work consists of experimental and clinical parts. Developed a public method of assessing the quality of sanitation of the abdominal cavity, which reduces the time of diagnosis, to assess the quality of rehabilitation during its execution, and use in health facilities at all levels, the simplicity of the method and equipment availability; derived index of secondary complications (ISC), which allows with sufficient probability to predict the development of secondary septic complications in the treatment of common forms of peritonitis, the technique of abdominal drainage in the treatment of peritonitis, which improves the efficiency of treatment by choosing a position to carry out drainage and sanitation by an elongated irrigation of the abdominal cavity with an antiseptic solution. Results of the study introduced in the work of hospitals and the city of Kharkiv region and can be used in the surgical departments of medical institutions at all levels and in the cycle of thematic advanced surgeons.
