Essay

The thesis analyzes legal status of missing persons and persons whose whereabouts is unknown. We studied the most complex and problematic issues associated with not quite clear coverage of this institution in the norms of civil law and civil and notarial process. The emphasis is made on the conclusion that the status of missing persons must be regarded as temporary, which have to transform into announcement of its decease or the appearance of such person and its abolition.
