Melnyk O. Ukrainian Prose of the end of XX - beginning of XXI century in the context of risorial tradition.

The thesis is dedicated to elucidation of the specific character of the risorial tradition in Ukrainian fiction prose of the end of XX - beginning of XXI centuries presented in the works of Yu. Vynnychuk, V. Drоzd, Ye. Dudar, B. Zholdak, P. Zagrebelnyi, V. Karpenko, M. Matios, V. Trypachuk, O. Chornoguz, V. Shnaider, P. Shchegelskyi and others. The work discloses the theoretical foundations of problematic issues in the study of comic forms, reviews the poetical and evaluation levels from the biased / unbiased point of view of laughter. The basis of investigation is built on the concept of classification of comic beyond the objects of mocking and fiction means and on the conditional opposition of critical commencement of comic to "good-humored" laughter. The analysis of methods and means of creation of comic effects, which has been carried out in this research, specifies the peculiarities of writing technique, author's attitude towards the depicted figures, ideological focus of the texts, and also reveals the patterns of risorial tradition on the modern stage of pencraft's development.
