A theoretical generalization and a new scientific solution of one of actual tasks of occupational health - health promotion of miners, based on development of new diagnostic criteria for chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD), using modern instrumental methods (spirometry, bodyplethysmography, detection of DLCO, respirosonography) and introduction of a new method of treatment - anti-homotoxic therapy (AHTT) are given.A set of medical and prophylactic recommendations for patients with COPD and a risk group has been developed.
