In this thesis, based on experiment, the study of specialties of AC voltage unit reproduction errors in the standards of thermal-comparison type has been held. In the result, the approach to the minimization of the detected main error components was formulated. In order to minimize an error caused by non-simultaneous comparison, an approach for the determination of thermo-comparison optimal time is developed. The models of short-term instability have been proposed and developed in the form of expanded uncertainty and in the form of the effective part of the autocorrelation function, which is the set of observation time functions. An indirect method for the AC to DC voltage transfer error estimation has been proposed. The models of the permissible heteropolarity error have been proposed and created in order to determine DC-AC voltage transfer error. The approach to the compensation of errors for measuring devices consisting of multiple element units have been proposed in order to obtain the minimal total error for different combinations of elements. This allows to achieve the required accuracy, if the elemental base with lower metrological characteristics is used. The results of the implementation of proposed and created approaches to the minimization of the main components of the thermo-comparison type AC voltage unit standard are presented.
