In the thesis there is carried out an attempt for a complex theoretical-legal research of the problem of legislation effectiveness. In its three parts there is covered the state of topic development, determined the basic tasks of research and its theoretical-methodological basics; analyzed the problems of theoretical and practical character connected with formation and functioning of Ukrainian legislation; enunciated concepts and defined structural elements of effective and effectiveness of legislation, criteria of evaluation of the level of its effectiveness.
