Pohribna T. The Semantics and Pragmatics of Czech Folk Omens: a Lingvocultural Approach.

Subject area - Czech folk omens in the linguacultural acpect. Objectives of the research - the complex analysis of the structure, semantics and ways of nomination of Czech folk omens. Research methodology - descriptive, historical-etymological, semantic field approach, elements of lingua-cultural, ethnolinguistic and pragma-semantic approaches, quantitative method. Scientific novelty - in the context of contemporary lingua-cultural approaches, the structural-semantic, functional-syntactic and communicative-pragmatic peculiarities of Czech folk omens are researched. Practical value - teaching courses: lexicology and ligua-cultural study of the Czeck language; special courses: phraseology, linguculturology, ethnolinguistics, in the lexicographic practice.
