Object is the state of water ecosystems of rivers basins. The goal is to develop and implement methods and tools to address the problems of ecological control ecological control of river basin water ecosystem state, as one of ways of providing of them steady development. Methods are a statistical analysis of rows of looking after chemical composition of water, mathematical design, comparison of existent methods of estimation of quality of surface-water, methods of geographic information technologies. Novelty - found out features of development of water ecosystems of Prut river basin; the methods of estimation of restoration properties of water ecosystems are improved; for the first time index of water ecosystem development (IWD) is offered for ecological control providing; statistical approaches are developed for prognostication of changes of quality of water of of Prut river basin; the geographic information system "The Technogenic loading on Prut river basin is developed". Results - the new method of estimation of the state of water ecosystem is developed, introduced into the production and training activities. Industry - the environment.
