Lazarev A. Constitutional and Legal Status of Higher Election Bodies in Ukraine and Abroad: Comparative Analysis

This dissertation accumulates doctrinal approaches and standard regulations, and represents a comprehensive research of theoretical and legal aspects of constitutional and legal status of higher election bodies in Ukraine and abroad. The paper characterizes the history of origin and regulatory and legal aspects of the issue in focus. It also provides a deep insight into the essence and system of elements of the constitutional and legal status of the Central Election Commission in Ukraine and relevant higher election bodies in foreign countries. In this paper, we have explained the notion and essence of principles applicable to the constitutional and legal status of the higher election bodies in Ukraine and abroad.
