In dissertation a complex of scientific researches of the questions concerning criminal responsibility for breaking the order of handing over precious metals and stones was made (art. 214 of Criminal Code of Ukraine). History of criminal legislation development, which regulates relations in sphere of precious metals and stones turnover, was researched. Domestic and foreign criminal legislations in specified sphere were compared. The social conditionality of breaking the order of handing over precious metals and stones was analyzed.
