Essay

The thesis deals with I.Franko’s intimate epistolarity, wherein examines the character of the writer’s relations with the addressees firstly. In the context of the modern theoretical investigations the poetics of the intimate correspondence is explored. The peculiar attention is accented on the role of the author and the addressee in I.Franko’s proper love, intimate and friendly and intimate and family correspondence. The detailed analysis of the genre types of the intimate correspondence was fulfilled and the individuality of Franko’s epistolary style was clarified.
