Essay

Dissertation is dedicated to levealing the sex features of disorders of cholinergic regulation of the heart in gonadectomy rats by use of precursor L-arginine and nonselective blocker L-NAME of nitric oxide synthesis. It is established that in gonadectomy animals of both sex introduction of the precursor synthesis of nitric oxide L-arginine at a dose of 600 mg/kg leads to activation of cholinergic and weakening of adrenergic effects of the autonomic nervous system; helps to restore the reduced by deficit of sex hormone sensitivity of the heart to endogenous acetylcholine in females and exogenous in males; causes accumulation of the acetylcholine only in ventricular myocardium by reducing its hydrolysis activity in animals of both sex. Nonselective blocker of nitric oxide synthesis L-NAME deepens the disorders of autonomous regulation of the heart caused by removing of gonads, leading marked limitation of parasympathetic and activation of sympathetic influences on the sinus node. Vegetative disbalance is accompanied by decreased sensitivity of the heart to endogenous and exogenous acetylcholine. L-NAME increases the amount of mediator fraction of acetylcholine only in the ventricular myocardium in gonadectomy males on the background of increased activity of its hydrolysis.
