Essay

Dissertation is dedicated to clarifying the pathogenetic peculiarities of the combined mechanothermal injury and determining the role of prior emotional stress in the mechanisms of its development. In a combined mechanothermal injury compared with separate burn and polytrauma, higher levels of functional injury of liver are observed on the 1-7th days of observation with higher indices of peroxide oxidation and endogenous intoxication, cytolysis markers and larger destruction of the hepatocytes lobe structure. The exhaustion of SH-groups content in liver homogenate is observed; up to third day of observation the content of ceruloplasmin and total peroxidase activity of blood increases, followed by their further decline.Previous acute immobilization stress significantly modifies the response of animals to a combined injury. Two-hour immobilization stress results in greater morphological and functional abnormalities in the body of injured animals, based on what a model of trauma was created. Prestress lasting 60 minutes, in contrast, is accompanied by improvement of the majority of the studied parameters on the 7th and, especially, on the 14th day after the injury and is accompanied by less damage to the structure of hepatic lobules and enhanced regeneration. It is based on the mobilization of stress-limiting systems of the body, as evidenced by indicators of mathematical analysis of heart rate, which change to increased parasympathic tonus on 7th and 14th days.
